I am just back from supplying a big plant sale for charity which has been going for many many years. It's quite possible that some of the massive amounts of stuff I have donated originated from the plant sale many moons ago.
The organiser who is a delight had the Beechgrove gang visit her garden on Thursday when it was blowing a gale:yikes:. However all seemed to go well, so much so that they are going to revisit the same garden in the Spring to show it at it's best according to the owner.
The lady 's garden is really lovely as is she. She is a real plants woman with hands to match! If you can watch the programme I would, I'm sure you will enjoy it. I'm going over to see her in a week or 2. I asked her when it would be a good time to visit as I knew she would be a bit tired ( that was not the adjective I used!) after the huge sale and Beechgrove. Her reply was "Give me a week of plenty of Gin and sleep then I should be fine":lunapic 130165696578242 5::lunapic 130165696578242 5:.A woman after my own heart except I drink whisky!

I'll make sure I catch Beechgrove 13th episode on catch up :blue thumb: Just viewed my first episode of it last week . I did find it more "real life", than gardeners world is .

I usually watch Beechgrove on catch up when I remember - it's by far and away the best gardening program on the telly.

Due to pathetic BBC scheduling, it's only on early on a Sunday morning in England.
