Mazie and wheat harvest times?

    Hi at what time of the year do the farmers roughly harvest these crops?

    Late july, august depending on the weather. You know it round here when the harvest has started, tractors with loaded trailers charging past till the early hours. Our wheat is fully formed but still green.

    There still cutting silage & putting the whoopers on the hay around here.

    In a village a few miles from here they have already harvested the wheat in one field. It was the very short variety. I don't know whether that variety is bred short to just withstand the heavy downpours (that we haven't had) or whether it ripens earlier.
