mccoubreys01.jpg McCoubrey's pub had started to leak after 25 years so it needed a new roof. It meant stripping off the old roof completely as it was rotten in places, so was quite a big job. Four sheets of Malasian ply (slightly cheaper than marine ply at some £35 a touch) and two rolls of green mineral felt at another £36 a touch meant it was not a particularly cheap job (and a £40 bottle of malt for my helper :))
Then painting the underside with terracotta Garden Shades (£15 in Homebase ... £10 in B&Q .... honest) and re-painting the signage left me with sore arms and legs for a few days .....
BUT it should do for another few years and mefinks it looks good
    Whatcha fink? :)
