I recently bought a Mculloch leaf blower/vac and it's great! I am posting because if anyone is looking for a budget option I would definitely recommend this:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/McCulloch-M...81660066&sr=8-1&keywords=mculloch+leaf+blower

I didn't buy it from Amazon, I bought it locally, but it's the same product.

The blower is very powerful at top speed, and easily controllable with a lever to set the revs and a the throttle. The vac attachment is a bit fiddly to put on and empty, but it is very powerful and it mulches the leaves down very well.

I've been using mine almost daily for a couple of months now. It starts on the second pull every time and can run on 50:1 synthetic oil rather than the stated 40:1. The shop I bought it at suggested this as all my other machinery is Stihl and use 50:1, so I don't have to make separate mixes.

Mculloch are now owned by Husqvarna so the quality of the blower is good. I have an old Mculloch Strimmer which I spent more time fixing than I ever used it and it was terrible to start. I swore I'd never buy another product from them, but so far, the blower has been really good.

Hope this helps someone as Autumn is now definitely here! :)
