I have been looking for a special car for quite a long time and never found what I wanted. It's always been a convertible as I had them for 20 years and have missed them. I love Renaults and I was looking for a Megan but even second-hand they went out of my cash range.

Having lunch with our dear friends we went on holiday with this past week, it was mentioned there was something they knew for sale ...

A very strange occurrence. I found a carrier bag in the car when I got home with various personal items in it including prescription glasses, medication, etc, etc. I phoned the previous owners a while ago and told them I found this bag and the woman was over the moon, they are her things that the husband said he took out of the car (he's 10 years older than her).

I said to her, I found these things in Isabel. She said "who's Isabel?". I said, "that's what I've named your car" ... she said "that's my daughter's name" ... she was almost in tears ... we're driving back tomorrow (another hour and a half round trip) to return her belongings.

Congratulations Sis on your new roadster!

She looks very smart and I hope she takes you everywhere safely.

She looks bigger than I thought, HC looks rather small compared to her.

How strange about the carrier bag of stuff and the daughter's name!

Here an interesting link to show her about other topless ladies, and perhaps gents too!

    She's a beauty, isn't she? Am I happy or am I happy? Don't answer that! :D

Yes, strongy, problems, they don't do tonneau covers any more apparently like I had for my MGs so the top will have to go up every night. The hard tops are not to be had for love nor money! :(

My Babe, BM will keep me in line with the paintwork! :D

I'm sure we'll be very happy together, thank you. [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks everyone. It does actually have electric air conditioning as well as natural. :D

Sis, it only meets one of the criteria for being a Roadster ... it is a Cabriolet (electric not rollup windows) but is a four-seater (just) not two and has an integral windscreen not bolt on.

Guess it's mid-sized whereas the Clio is compact. It handles and maneovers better than the Clio! Drives like a dream. [IMG]

Thanks rosa, I'm sure I will. Had a good couple of hours run today. Got her a bit dusty so will have to go wash her. I'm in love with her ... here's a couple of pics with the top up.

The Aussie Shade Sail arrived yesterday so t'other half attached it to the almond tree, the shed and the Baffa ...

This cost less than £40 shipped from the UK (postage almost as much as the sail) so for the UK this would make a brilliant economical patio cover. They come in various colours as well.
