I never understand comments about Turkeys being ugly - I think they're fantastic birds. They're also extremely sociable, hence constantly displaying to all and sundry! If I had the room for Turkeys I'd keep a few.

What breed is he Roders? Definitely not a Norfolk Black!

Oh for shame! Turkeys are magnificent creatures - only a step away from peacocks and birds of paradise. I think he's a corker!

Aha! Another Turkey fan, cheers Daisees!

Did you know that the dangly bit at the end of his face/beak is used to trick the females? He wiggles it on the ground, they think it's a worm and when he distracted, he makes his move.....

Alison, you big wimp! He's all feathers and show. Honestly, they are extremely friendly birds...although a real pest if you need to keep them in one place or contained in a run as they fly and love to perch in trees. They're also rather pathetically delicate when babies and can curl up toes and die at the drop of a hat.

Where did you rescue her from? She looks a poppet - and yes, turkeys can be extremely inquisitive...
