Do melons have to be hand titivated ( can't bear all this discusting behaviour). Oh yes. How many can I expect from plants under open ended plastic closhes?

When i grew melons under cloches some years ago I didn't touch them - to be honest I forgot about them. When i looked there were loads of melons - it was the one called Sweetheart. We ended up having to turn them into melon balls so we could freeze them, there were that many.

Hope mine will do the same- they're Sweetheart. But we need sun! I've cleared weeds away from outside the greenhouse, and fed the plants.
