Memory of my dragon boat festival

Dragon boat festival is a traditional festival to show rememberance of Quyuan,a famous poet and politician lived 2400years ago.He drowned himself in Niluo river because he was despair to his king.However,he left many remarkable poems.He loved herbs and compared himself as herbs.
I love dragon boat festival because I love his poems,his loyalty to his kingdom and his pure heart.Here are some photos.
this is the rice dumpling i made.Usually they were wrapped in reed weeds.I unwrapped them but the fresh smell left on rice.I put some flowers picked from my garden.

And the greenbean cake.Green beans are often used in summer as typical Chinese medicine help to calm down.Dragon boat festival is the beginning of summertime.
