Hi I'm new to the forum but was thrilled to see a pet section. Of course I wasn't really suprised because it stands to reason that people who are kind to plants must also love their animals!

Here are my 2 Cockers(left to right) Sophie and Bronte, and my mum's Hamish and Maxwell. This was taken 2 years ago. They are all still going strong although with age comes an increasing need to have a good lie in in the morning, ever bold loss of manners such as stealing childrens tea whenever they like, and an unexplainable desire to chew dirty nappies when left alone in the house.

    They look such angels! [IMG]

Yes, I'm afraid Ruby went to be with Jesus. However we now have Ethel and Violet though they have yet to model for me. Their fees are far too high!

They're lovely, the snow one is my favourite. I have a dog who loves guinea pigs and rabbits, really wants to mother them!

Thankyou for your comments. Yes Bronte loves the 'GP's' as we call them collectively. They obviously smell very nice! All hay and sawdust. They also like to be close to her. However, I've been quite sure what Bronte's motivation is and I would never leave them alone together!

Gorgeous Juliet - but no. I wont be fooled by the angellic looks ;) I am immune to them having kept spaniels for 28 years!

I have 8 rabbits but wouldnt trust my girls with them - they are just about ok to leave the top of the runs off when Im cleaning out and thats it  Must get some pics of the buns on here too [IMG]

Yes, please! I love rabbits and guineapigs. I used to have house rabbits, along with dogs and cats. The rabbits would often harass the dogs and cats and were definitely top!

I had Dylan Thomas the dwarf lop in the house and he got on very well with the dogs. Like to jump into their baskets with them at night. He was also keen on sitting on my lap of an evening, or stretching out next to me on the floor in front of the box. A real character. He also went to be with Jesus. :(

I must try and take some shots of old Ethel and Violet though. I think they secretly wish I would, a bit vain on the quiet. :D

Yes Bronte definately looks like Rhonda. We bought her from a breeder in Chalfont St.Giles. She will be 12 in September but still looks like a puppy to me. Must be the grey hair that never seems to change.

Lovely web pages by the way and those pups look so cute. Spaniels really are the cutest puppies.

By the way Waco, you will see that our Blue Roans are really very nice but our Goldens are a case of little and large. hamish is really big and probably has a touch of field Spaniel in him. he came from a pet shop! Sophie came from a K.C Reg breeder but is very small(as well as totally mad!).

the solid colours and party colours are almost different breeds. the golden/reds had a few problems which are refered to as "red rage syndrome" got to be quite a problem with solid colours, but OK if you source your breeder.

I really want to keep my orange bitch but HE won't let me - very sad.

    Hi Juliet

..... do I know you from COL?????

I have a solid Black little girl called Bramble. She's wonderful - and naughty!!! Yes, Waco, there were problems a few years ago where there was some careless breeding with solids - reds came off worst, but, hopefully there are now more responsible breeders out there and the problems are slowly being eliminated, but it is surprising how the stigma sticks.

You pictures are so sweet!!!! - Butter wouldnt melt!!!! :D :D
