Hi All

I put my potatoes up the allottment in the shed last week up I go this week and find the mice or rats have chewed a few of them it appears the prefer the Anya and Pink Fir Apple.

The question is should I throw the potatoes away that have teeth marks in or will the grow ok??

I have had to dump a box of potatoes on the compost heap that were for eating they have chewed.

Thanks

Dave

Should be fine with a few nibbles , looks like you need a mouse or rat trap or cat .Hope its not rats cant you block any holes in the shed

The potatoes should grow fine David , a few nibbles won't matter.
Some people cut their seed potatoes into bits before planting (don't recommend it).
That's good taste your mice have :dbgrtmb: They sure picked the best ones.
And those potatoes you put on the compost heap will most likely grow
