Thinking of getting one of these while away on holiday, has anyone used these before.
Was also thinking of fitting a timer has well.

I've got a low pressure system running off a water butt on a timer, I've had it 5 years now and it works really well. It cuts down on time spent watering not only for holidays. I got it from here:

    https://www.watermateirrigation.co.uk/Rainwater-Irrigation/Soft-Rain-Gravity-Flow-p50.html

Ater a couple of years I bought some extra bits to extend it to water my tree ferns. It works well in my garden being on a hill, the water butt at the top so it's all gravity fed.

I also have a mains pressure system for hanging baskets on the house, that worked Ok the first year but tends to blow apart at the joints occasionally so I can't rely on it.
