Midge/mosquito bites

Ok, getting bored now ... I have several on my scalp; but now have two on my face!!

There just *has* to be a way of detering these peskies

Have you got a Walnut tree near by Mum....if so grab some leaves and rub them all over yourself........

 

Find an Avon Rep. and get some Skin So Soft, Soft & Fresh, Dry Oil Body Spray.
They also do a Shower Gel with similar properties to deter midges/mozzies.
Check with your local Builders. They will likely be using it.

If it's good enough for the Marines, surely a gardener can bear the embarrassment of using Avon stuff

 

Unfortunately, no Walnut trees :( I'll google to see if we have any nearby then do a stealth move to garner the leaves before they all disappear.

I've eaten bugs .. I can mimic being a Marine if it will stop these ruddy bugs eating me alive!

 

You've just got midges with discerning taste Mum , they don't munch Bob the Builder when your are around,

If they are in the house light a few scented candles they don`t like them

 

citronella oil mixed with water. give yourself a squirt before going outside. works for me. just dont get it in your eyes. Aloe Vera on the bites you already have.
