Talk to us Mike
Good evening my dear friends. I wasn't going to logon tonight for obvious reasons. Then my conscience dictated otherwise. Truly my eyes have become a bit moist having read all your good wishes. Thank you all, so much. This was my fourth time of having this operation, first being 2014. Basically it is perhaps one of the easiest of the cancers to treat, bladder cancer, due to it's confinement. However as with any surgical procedures it does carry some risks and of course pain. It is now 23.17 hrs Wed. 9.1.19 Yes I had the operation yesturday. I have to say. All the urology team I have met over the period have been great. I feel that as there are so many younger doctors and from across the world. This has helped to put trust in fellow man. Even in pain etc. I could still have a laugh and joke with them. So my stay at University Hosp. Lewisham was short, and enjoyable. There's no place like home. I did sense that things were going OK as the catheter was removed during my brief stay in recovery. To me, this suggested that the surgeon had really done a good job. Sadly even now I am in a lot of pain. This has to be expected. My daughter Amanda is fussing around me. Dad...rest. Don't do this or that. She is disabled, yet she shows so much love for me. Friends. Once again so, so many thanks for your concern.. God Bless you all. Mike.
He does sound lovely I hope he is ok .
Good, now get over it and carry on gardening you soft southern pansy
So pleased to hear from you Mike. We`ve been right worried for you, and are glad you`re home again. You may need a hot water bottle at the mo`, but as me muvver used to say ... ''it`ll not always be dark at six! '' Hopefully see you soon. xxxxxx
