Lovely buildings Zigs are they all 'listed'?

 

Lovely photos Zigs, but..... Why no pics of the abbey :(

Love the second one Zigs, but the green dust bin doesn't match the church in the 3rd pic, they like people to sit around by the looks of how many seats are there

 

There's an abbey?

The church is part of the old abbey, the nave was demolished at the dissolution.



The house that was built after the demolition of the abbey buildings is now a school I believe.



The reason that the so called " model " village is there is that when the Lord of the manor had his new house built ( the school now ), he said the old village was an eyesore and had it demolished and built the new one out of sight of his house.
