My miniature rose Estrelita de Oro's first flower of the summer. This rose seems prone to blackspot, when my other roses aren't, so it got sprayed with Sulphur Rose about a week ago, and several times during the winter. I have been careful to mostly keep greenfly off its flower buds.

I love its flowers, like little stars.

Its flower has opened even more in the past half hour in the sun.

Photos taken in late afternoon, about 5.30pm, with the bright sunshine gone a bit and more overcast.
