Clever me went to take some pics of my Meyer lemon tree, still with two ripe lemons on it (I've picked two already), little lemonlets from the flowering a couple of months ago and heaving with buds and flowers yet again .... all this on a 60cm tree in a pot on my kitchen patio .... and I inadvertently set my camera wrong ... and this is the result ....

I think it's lovely and needed some inspiration to do another painting ... and I think I have found it. :)

Serious case of overexposure there V, by about four stops I reckon.
    The lemon looks about right!

Indeed Victoria. When I saw the pic and before I read what you had written I thought - it would make a good painting. Go for it and hope you enjoy doing it.

:D I often take pics on different settings just to see what they come out like it can be quite fun the effects you can get sometimes..... Not what you think it is going to be at all.. :thmb: Think it will make a nice pic, it will be interesting to see the transition from photo to painting..!!:D

I have tried to take pics of birds in flight using the shutter speed priority and all I get everytime is a white pic.:(
I tend to stick to the programmed mode ootherwise I would probably make a lot more mistakes.:D
