Mole Epidemic!

Does anyone else think there is a mole epidemic going on? I live in North Oxfordshire and everywhere I go I see molehills spread across fields and gardens. Or is the time of year?

 

It's the time year.

 

I think the moles we had have gone on holiday , no sign of them this year

May have gone holidaying in Oxfordshire

 

Land is very wet so moles have moved to better drained areas so this has added to their visibility.

I catch moles professionally.

 

I've always been told that this is the time of year when they go surfing under the soil looking for mates.

I caught a mole once when I was a kid. I wanted to keep it as a pet but it panicked and bit me and it hurt so I let go and it legged it.
