    Hi all,

I grow my veg in lots of small raised beds (great for walking in between and leaning over into without treading on and compacting soild of course etc etc).

One of then that has a nice big courgette plant in has what looks like mole activity around the sides (inbetween is weed membrane and gravel so obviously no mole hills in the main walkway areas).

The courgette plant has suddenly started to wilt badly in that bed. Might a mole be eating or damaging the root system and thereby causing it the obvious stress that I can see in the plant?

If so, how on earth am I going to deal with a mole problem that is mostly hiding beneath my beds. If it was in the lawn I could get access to it's runs but under the beds? What to do??

Hi Mat,if you look up on the 23 July l gave some advice to this problem, basically it was to use a birthday card which has a music piece to remove this from yhe card and put into the ground it drives the moles mad and they move on by the way the music plays for days [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks for the links and advice. I can't wait to try the birthday card idea. Although it will probably end up a batttle of whits - who can stand the card music the longest!?!
