Moles

Can anyone advise how to get rid of moles humanely?

 

put some empty glass bottles in the ground around the effected area, the sound what the airmovments makes in n out of the bottle scares them away

 

this isn't for me, i dont have moles, but which way do you lay the bottles? opening facing up, down, or horizontal? or doesn't it matter?

 

i am trying this out on my lottie

childrens windmills set in ground - i have been told this will deter them cos they dont like the vibrations

definitly not horizontal, opening facing up if i remember correctly (sorry done it like 10 years ago)
