    Hello All!
I've been down to my local supermarket and have bought some Montfavet Tomato Plants. There are no instructions on them so I don't know if they are an indoor or outdoor variety. I really want indoor for the greenhouse. Can you plant outdoor varieties indoors??? The only info I can find is they can grow to 20ft - so looks like I'll need a ladder :-)

Any info gratefully received ... happy planting gardening chums!!

Hi, more experienced gardeners will be able to give you more specific advice but I'm pretty sure it's fine to grow outdoor varieties in the greenhouse, this year I'm growing an outdoor blight resistant variety called fantasio inside. As for the height I think it's always best not to let them get too tall, you should pinch out the growing tip after about four trusses have formed so all the energy goes into producing ripe fruit, I think some types of tomato plant would pretty much grow to the moon if you let them :D good luck!
