Ah the joys of Spring. I enjoyed looking at all the images and I agree with Marley that it was sooo hard to choose.

    1. Yvonne - Love is all around - a joyful picture capturing a magic moment

    2. Strongylodon - Whitethroat - I can almost hear the birdsong...

    3. Wise Old Owl - Lilac Blossom - beautiful and needs to be viewed closely

    1 Dave W "Gime nectar"
Had to be a bee for my number one spot , great photo

2 Dave W "Happens every Spring"
Caught the shot just at the right moment, would of been good without its tongue stuck up its nose so even better :snork:

    3 Sheal ,"Blue Mood

Really like this one, I could easily have this as a photo on the wall in my house

Hard to choose again wonderful photos from everyone, I would of put Loli as 4th as her photo really captured the "theme"

What a great assortment from everyone this month. Loved looking at them all again - making a choice was the hard part:
    1) Dave W "Happens every Spring." Great caption - made I larf.
    2) Loli's "Coiled Spring" Perfect picture of young greenery and again - a snazzy title.
    3) Marley Farley's "Spring sowing patterns". Inspired shot - you can almost smell that soil.
    Jenny

Smashing photos too choose from ....here's my top 3 this month:

      1. Dave "Gimme nectar.." I really do like bees. I always wait with anticipation to see my first Spring bee in the garden every year. They're amazing creatures and this is a fab close up.

      2. Sheal..."Blue Mood." A really beautiful photo.

      3. Marley...." Spring Sowing Patterns." I really like the patterns in the soil...a nice clear shot and a different take on the theme.

This is soo difficult! I've been scrolling up and down for ten minutes - there are so many lovely photos that capture different aspects of "Spring." Well here goes -

        1. Jenny - Spring Speedwell. A lovely shot of a tiny little flower in the Spring sunshine. Nice and sharp with differential focus drawing one's eye to the detail of the flowers.

        2. Spruce - In the Pink. Iconic Spring blossom, leaves (no pun intended!) no doubt about the season.

        3. Ailsa - Sunbathing. Very well caught! Nicely framed and the splash of sun on the bird's breast justifies the title.

1st.......Marley.......Spring Sowing Patterns......An unusual, inspired idea on the theme and I love the patterns in the soil. A well focused clear shot.

2nd......Dave W......Happens Every Spring......I like this for it's humour and again an inspired choice of shot.

3rd......Spruce.......Apple Blossom Time......Spring is not complete without blossom. I like this for the simplicity/essence of a sprig of flowers.
