3rd - Woo ... Across The River ... Lovely moody dusky shot yet lots of details.

1st - Yvonne... Comet Watching....a stunning sunset, very atmospheric and lovely colours.

2nd - Woo... Across the River....this is a great shot with the bare trees and pink and grey skies conjuring up an image of winter. I can almost feel the coldness of the day.

3rd - Shiney....Taking the High Road....this is a great view. Wouldn't like to get lost up there!

      1. Sheal - Post Haste. Simple but very effective. The faded red of the post box stands out against the snow and the pointed piles of snow at the bottom seem to echo the pointed top of the post box.
      2. Shiney - Taking the High Road. It transmits such a sense of space and the path takes your eye into the middle of the photo, with the "unknown" beyond the high mountains.
      3. Wiseowl - Across the River. An almost timeless photo. Very stark but soft at the same time with the muted colours of the stone and the sky. Dreamily atmospheric.

      1. Marley Farley - favourite view... it's very difficult to capture dull shots and create an atmopshere, this photo has atmopshere but it's not overwhelming, it's very subtle, and this really does bring out the emotions.. this is the British countryside in it's most raw form.

      2. Yvonne - Comet Watching. Wonderful composition of colours, the photo creates a blue or seasonality, which is actually captured perfectly in those colours. I like how she's managed to blend in the land and sky, they are almost seemless.. it's a really uplifting photo and creates an abstract image of Spring in Britain in a sense.

      3. Shiney - coastal walk. In my opinion this photo shows the breathtaking nature of the scenery, people will take photos and often they just don't show anything except a 2D image and that's it, but this for me sort of captures the other dimension, and it actually has a particularly summery vibe to it, despite being taken in March... this photo to me defines the coast as a place in which time stand still.

All of these were great photos, really were and it was difficult to choose these winners, apologies to everyone, I really liked the photos!

1 -Taking The High Road - took my breath away when I saw this. Probably because every time I climb a mountain the top is always covered in cloud. 2 - You'll have to run to catch me! - I just love the cheeky expression on the child's face and pose you have caught her moving body in. 3 - Saxifrages & Heather on a cold March day. - I like the contrasting colours.
