    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo.. The photograph with the highest points wins.
    NO VOTES FOR 2 1st PLACES ETC
    3. Votes should be cast within 7 days after this thread starting.

    It's a shame about the lack of entries for March but votes there will be nonetheless! :)

    1st......Wiseowl......I'll Second That.....A lovely , well focused close up shot of a lamb at rest.

    2nd......Wiseowl......In Like Two Lions......A nice choice for the competition title, a good clear picture.

    3rd......Strongylodon......In Like A Lamb!......This lamb looks so frail and lonely in his new and big wide world. A scene well caught!

      Good morning with respect I would like to suggest that we cancel the March photo Competition it only has 4 entries and 3 are mine,its a real shame that there is no interest any more especially after Marley's hard and time consuming effort over the years,I respect that photography is not everyone's cup of tea but please post your photos in the April Competition,it took a long time to get the Comps off the ground,please support them,even a passport photo will do:heehee:

          It's also a shame that the GC 2014 Photograph of the Year vote didn't take place. There are some cracking photos on that thread waiting to be voted for as well as the vote for the December 2014 best photo to add to that list. It's a pity as Marley did put a lot of work in and the competition was a good addition to this forum. I'm still voting as I want to support the competitions.

            I know not many photos but Quality not quantity , and big plus keeps it going and who ever wins can pick a popular theme ? maybe for next time so more can join in.

              @wiseowl......with respect this month's subject was a little difficult for many including me as March has been a very calm month here and it wouldn't have been easy to portray this, also my apologies to you @Spruce as you chose the subject.

              Marley has been doing a great job putting the competitions together for us but she has had a difficult time recently which is why some of the competition results from earlier are still outstanding. I think we all need to wait patiently while things are sorted out and I'm sure the competitions will still be popular when they are back on track. :)

                1) Woo's pair of lions "in like two lions" - fun shot that made me smile
                2)Strongy "In like lamb". Lovely detailed shot of a fine young lamb
                3) Woo "Lion or lamb". His sunrises are the best ....
