:gnthb: Well Youngdaisydee was our very well deserved winner last month with her superb photo of the " Perfect "..[IMG]

Youngdaisydee has given this some thought & come up with something a little different for this month, a really inspiring theme I think for this month...
    "
    Why you are a Gardener"
& in Youngdaisydee's words.. " A Photo that reminds you of why you are a gardener"..!! A free for all really, it could be a certain plant, a tree ,a border, a garden, a person or even a photo.". Remember your photo you enter must be taken this month..!!!!

So..... What gave you the gardening bug..!!
    :)

:thmb: It is going to be interesting I am sure as this is such a broad theme for you all to interpret..

[IMG]So come on everyone get your thinking caps on..!! There is allot of scope with this topic. So lets see what we can
    all do..!! [IMG]

The competition is of course based on the Integrity & Honesty of the entrants first & foremost...!!

We all have different cameras & that is what having the competition is about... Our ability to take a good photograph, to improve on that if we can with each photo we take, interpret the months theme as widely & imaginatively as we can..... without editing enhancement! So good luck everyone!

There will not be any prizes for this Competition, just the self-satisfaction of gaining and showcasing your photography skills.

    Please follow the guidelines below:-

    1. All entries to be submitted by 23.59Hrs on the last day of the month of the competition.

    2. You can enter up to three (3) pictures.

    3. Give your picture a title

    4. Post your photos within this thread for entry into the competition.

    5. Photos have to be taken within the current competition month & year
    * "Competitors are advised that they should ensure that their camera's time and date function is set correctly as EXIF data attached to most images is available to moderators and other competitors. *

    6. Image to be, "as taken" ..
NOT to be altered in any way OTHER than..
    a) Cropping/Enlargement.
    b) Insertion of text, for copyright reasons, if desired.
    c) A single colour plain border only, permitted, no frames ( use of a.b. & c. are of course optional)

Any image deemed to be altered will be deleted.. Mods decision is final.

    7. The winner will be decided by votes by the users of the forum.

    8. The winner of the competition gets to choose the theme for the next month's competition. This theme is to be kept separate & different from the "Monthly Enhanced Comp" theme.

Please post discussion for this months pictures and about the competitionHere..

The very best of luck to everyone this month !! [IMG]

    Paignton Devon

had a dark corner in the garden, i got this idea from a shop in Paignton whilst on holiday, the houses, coffee shop, church and wall & gate all came from the same shop, the ruined castle came from a pet shop back home in Carlisle (its an aquarium ornamnet) i added that along with other colourful objects - a sole tulip has forced its way through the gravel this spring, the other bit of planting is the dwarf conifer surrounded by 'peace, hope and happiness frogs'
the bust is not modelled on me LOL

my kids like it - my wife thinks its vulgar
