Monthly Photo Comp May 2011 Votes..!!

    :thumbsup: Well here we are again everyone.. The end of another month & you all know what that means.!!

    This is the more serious of our monthly comps where we see some superb photography.. :thumbsup: This month has seen such a good number of very interesting entries..
    Voting will close at 11.59pm Tuesday 7th June 2011 ..!! :dbgrtmb::WINK1: So all that remains for me to do is wish, everybody who entered... "Good Luck".!

    HERE is a link to this months photos to help you decide..

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-
    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    NO VOTES FOR 2, 1ST PLACES ETC.

    3. Votes should be cast within five (5) days after this thread starting..
    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures..

    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next but 1 competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner.

    do I just do my vote here?

    1st Redstar floating lillies 5points - love the colour, the composition, the tranquility, beautiful
    2nd Lyn Clematis 3points - the sort of photo I would LOVE to take, love the contrasting shades nature has provided in 1 flower
    3rd Lyn Blue delph 1point - found choosing 3rd hard but I like the shade of blue and the water droplets give it another dimension

    :DOH: Oh my goodness, that really was so hard this month.! So after much deliberation this is my choice... :sunny:

    1st.. Lyn... Blue Delph... A really beautiful shot, the blues are so soft as well just loved it..

    2nd.. Woo... In the Pink... Beautifully composed shot, plus sweet peas are so lovely..

    3rd.. Naylors Ark... Sunny Seedum.. An eye catching shot & the composition is great..

    1st- Lyn... Blue Delph........ Lovely colours.

    2nd- Melinda....The Colour Purple..........Nice clear shot.

    3rd-Keinnaf ... Ruby red.........Again, nice clear shot & bold colours.

    1. Sunny Sedum by Naylors Ark. This has a lovely combination of colours.

    2. Mother and child, cathyland.. I love the two flowers side by side.

    3. Beautiful blossom, Keinnaf with lovely detail in close up.

    So hard to choose, great pics from everyone but .....

    1st Keinaf Ruby Red Really zingy colour well caught.
    2nd Naylors Ark Scented Sunshine I can just feel it and smell it.
    3rd Cathyland Mother and Child Great zingy colour and I love the title.

    Great looking garden Kindredspirit. Love the subdued colours.
