1 - Jiffy, Sunrise Shining Through. A beautiful, soft composition. Main subject sharp and dominant, muted pastel background sets a soft mood and enhances the main subject.

2- Rodders, Waiting for the Sunset. Very clever and imaginative slant on the theme with a touch of humour. No wonder you laid the binos down - it looks like it was going to be a long wait!

3- Jenny, Catching the Last of the Months Sun. I really like the composition, exposure is excellent and sets off the subject nicely, focus is pretty near perfect too.

This is my first time of voting and it was hard to make a decision, much harder than the European Elections!!
My favourite and therefor my 1st is Lolimac with Reflecting the Humber. I have seen the Humber like this and it has been captured perfectly.
My number 2 is Jenny Namaste's Catching the last of the Months Sun. A beautiful, sympathetic picture with a completely different take on the subject.
I am/was completely torn for number 3 between Lolimac's Stormy Sun and Woo's Solar Ball but Woo has stopped the girls having a clean sweep. Solar Ball, the colours make it an amazing picture.
My three favourites but well done everyone.

2nd.....Marley.....Moody Sunset...Apt title, the picture is atmospheric, almost spooky.

3rd.....Marley.....A Resting Sunset...Something different, a very peaceful scene.

Very difficult to choose, all imaginative in their own right, however I have had to make decisions and they are ...

1st Jack McH ... Sunrise 07:13 ... fond memories of the many sea journeys I have made.

2nd roders ... Waiting for the sunset ... very creative and artistic.

3rd Loli ... Stormy Sun ... the contrast is vibrant and 'my' sort of photography.

        Well done to everyone.
