Monthly Photo Comp September 2011 Votes..!!

    :thumbsup: Well here we are again everyone.. The end of another month & you all know what that means.!!

    This is the more serious of our monthly comps where we see some superb photography.. :thumbsup: This month has seen such a good number of very interesting entries..
    Voting will close at 11.59pm Thursday 6th October 2011 ..
    ..!! :dbgrtmb::WINK1: So all that remains for me to do is wish, everybody who entered... "Good Luck".!

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-
    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - Please give a short explanation as to why you voted for each photo..

    NO VOTES FOR 2, 1ST PLACES ETC.

    3. Votes should be cast within six (6) days after this thread starting..
    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures..

    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next but 1 competition, please keep it separate from the other comp theme. So put your thinking caps on in case you are the winner.

    1st Naylors Ark....Dandelions....Love the contrast with the background sky.

    2nd WolfieKate....Nooks and Crannys....Simple, yet pleasing to the eye.

    3rd Ace of spades....Butterfly feeding on sow thistle....Lovely detail.

    2nd......Marley Farley.........Yellow Toadflax...Lovely and soft. I like the crop.

    I thought this was a great theme as it made me realise just how few truly "wild" flowers and plants I have in my garden! I should let more things just do their stuff and see what comes up.

    Here goes:

    1. Trunky - Teasle heads - lovely end of summer shot.

    2. Marley Farley - Aww Prunella - love the purple colours

    3. Ace of Spades - butterfly feeding on sow thistle - amazing clarity and detail
