Were looking to grow some Mooli - as its a member of the horse radish family (we think ) will it run through the garden like horse radish and as such is it best grown in a container like horse radish ?

Not something I know about, but on googling it, it appears to be more like a raddish.

So my guess would be it is not invasive.

It's a brassica, same as pak choi and radishes, so susceptible to the same problems like flea beetles, and not related to horse radish.

Not invasive, no. Mine pushed itself half way out of the ground, and grew the other half of its root into the ground.
