Has anyone here sown moon carrot seeds? I have some in window pots but after a few weeks of regular watering etc, there are no signs of life. Just wondering if anyone has any advice?

Wow, just googled it, what an amazing looking thing, must have a go. Can you eat it?

I note it emphasises full sun and very sharp drainage, so maybe you've been trying too hard with the watering?

Other plants in the family can be slow to germinate, maybe you should just give it a bit longer, you can resow if you're really nervous but don't throw out the first lot yet.

Thanks. I'll cut down on watering. Not sure about their edibility. I'll keep you posted!

Thanks for all your interest and advice ... this week one of the pots has started to show signs of life! The first moon carrot seedlings have emerged, and seem to be doing well. Seems the less-is-more watering advice paid off! Thanks.

So they must have taken 3 weeks plus to germinate? I'll remember that when I finally get mine going.
