THESE SEEDS I BROUGHT BACK FROM CANADA ON A VISIT TO OUR SON NEAR WINNIPEG.

THEY ARE COMMONLY CALLED "PEEK A BOO" PLANTS - AN ANNUAL I BELIEVE BUT IF I BROUGHT ONE OF THEM INSIDE IN AUTUMN WOULD I BE ABLE TO KEEP IT FOR NEXT YEAR. THEY HAVE A VERY SHORT SEASON IN WINNIPEG .

THEY ARE STILL VERY SMALL BUT WILL HOPEFULLY GROW QUICKLY WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP. Rt

    Description
Spilanthes oleracea is known as Peek -A- Boo Plant because the flowers are round yellow balls with a red â??eyeâ? on top. In addition to the unique flowers, â??Peek-A-Booâ?? has attractive bronzy, dark green foliage which is edible. This annual is used in salads because of itâ??s pepper like flavor, and is also chewed for toothache because of itâ??s anesthetic properties, this is how it gets itâ??s other common name of Toothache Plant. Spilanthes oleracea is a native to South America and is only hardy in warmer climates but is well worth growing as an annual for something different in your garden, reaching 12-18â? in height and 12â? wide.
    Hardiness: USDA Zones 10-11
    Plant Use: Flowering Perennial
Exposure: Full Sun to Partial Sun
    Water Requirements: Medium

Seems to me that it would survive in a greenhouse or conservatory where there was warmth and plenty of light. Don't think there would be sufficient natural light indoors you could prove me wrong.
