    Hi all

This pittosporum (I think it’s Silver Ball) seems to be struggling compared to the others I bought at the same time.

Do you think it would benefit from just being cut back hard? Or does it look possibly diseased and therefore will struggle regardless?

I’m also considering moving it at the same time.

    Thanks everyone!

It may just be some frost damage.
I have 12 P. Golf Ball edging my driveway and one or two of them sometimes get similar damage - I just cut it out and they fill-in over the summer.

It looks quite crowded there @latimer. Perhaps creating some space for it so that it gets better airflow might help keep any spores at bay. I pruned a P. Golf Ball quite drastically last year and thought I'd been a bit heavy handed but it bounced back (pun!) quite quickly .

        Thanks @Pete8 and @Plantminded

I'll give it a trim back and see how it gets on. Regarding it being crowded, I had thought to try and create a topiary cloud effect with multiple balls in close to each other but it never really looked right, so I think I'll probably move this elsewhere in the garden and give it all a bit more space.

        Thanks again!
