More snow again today, we got battered last Saturday and another 2/3 cm today, Global Warming, appears to have missed us. One of these days this year I may get some Spring sunshine and a chance to get outdoors. Mabe by late MAY !!

I know the feeling - I have 14 fence panels to paint, and it's done nothing but rain since I put (some of) them in! I got an hour last night when I got in from work, but you really need a good day to get stuck in! :(

We had a bit of sunshine yesterday so I thought today I would get in the garden and make a start on tidying up, pruning general gardening things. This morning when I got up looked out the window and YES! just what we need more snow :( It seems like its never going to come to an end.I think your May sounds about right

its cold here also..snow showers all day but it hasnt stuck its bitterly cold..i too have fence panels that need painting..and seeds that need sowing the weather is strange..because its my grandsons birthday next week and its allways been nice for that in fact we have allways sat in the garden for it..so whats going on? At this rate everything will be late growing..and lets hope we get a decent summer and a good autumn to extend the gardening season...the clocks go forward next weekend so hopefully the weather will change then also...

Here to - after the sun of yesterday, it was back to grey, cold and sleet florries - and no respite in sight for the next week. The weathermen did show our spring well to the south of us

It was snowing like gangbusters when I went to work this morning (7.15am!). A few miles down the road it was almost a blizzard, teeny little beads of dry ice bouncing off the windscreen but by the time I got a few more miles on, the sun was out and the snow had gone!! What you might call a tad bizzarre!

It looks like the weather is the same all over! Yesterday I went outside at the front of the house to clear some leaves. It was bitterly cold and as ususally happens when trying to clear leaves a gale blew!!! Strange that isnt it!! I gave up in the end, it does look a lot tidier now though. Hopefully in a few days we will all be able to get outside and do the tidying up of plants we should have been doing two weeks ago!

That'll confuse the plants!! And there are so many things I need to do, but can't because of the weather! You can't dig in this stuff, and you certainly can't weed! and as for redefining the edges of a lawn when the weather alternates between constant rain, heavy snow and frost - it's not good news for us self-employed gardeners!
