I had to dig up my potatoes as the tops were showing extensive signs of blight. Pink Fir Apple gave quite a good crop despite not having been in long. Bonnie, free with something from T&M, produced a small crop of good sized potatoes but spoilt by wireworm, so they won't keep...I'm told the wireworm is so bad because the ground was rough and hadn't been used for a few years. The ground was very wet and muddy, too.
The most disappointing thing is the broad bean crop- the plants have all developed something which I tentatively decided is chocolate spot. There are brown blodges all over the beans themselves as well as the leaves and stems, and the crop has been very poor.

    hi liz,
this has been true for me too although we seem to be getting more sunshine than most of the country, but I have never known the ground so wet.
