Well I've only gone and been and done it again....... I knew I shouldn't have, but there we are I did

Yep, Ive been to the Garden Centre. My name is Blue and Im a gardencentre-a-holic

After spending far too much money on seeing all the beautiful bulbs etc, drooling at the orchids, buying a huge sack of aspen bedding for my snakes, buying vegetable compost etc etc etc, I finally bought what I went for...... autumn planting garlic ! Triumph !
One large bulb would have been sufficient for me but hey ho, they were all sold in packs of three for £2.49. The one I am trying is called Marco as it is described as being very good for storage. I am getting round to a question fear not :hehe:
I planted all the cloves out as per the instructions ( not that difficult :o ) now here is my query...........
As I have only planted in the Spring before, when do I expect to see the cloves shooting? I presume they put down a root system first, but at what point do they show growth above the ground when planted at this time of year?

    Thank you
    Blue 0)
