    The morning glories have finished.

    They have dropped their seeds.

The dead vines I dumped on the compost heap like it there.

    Good job they're not hardy.

I've got exactly the same problem. Also a pot containing morning glory and thunbergia which is still flowering! Earlier in the year I was wandering if I'd stored up trouble for myself next year as the morning glory produced so many seeds. I did save a few and was much relieved when the escapees began growing. It's a strange year.

Mines the same, but the plants this year grew from last years seed. I know they're not hardy but I bet there's still plenty of seeds that will overwinter and come up next year.

Well, that's the Costa del Kent for you. I have an emptied bed full of petunia seedlings as well.
