Saw a couple of Mosquitoes at RAF Wattisham in Suffolk during the make of the film 633 Squadron. I was with 111 Squadron [Lightnings] at the time and the Mosquitoes overflew the airfield and did a couple of rollers along the runway. There were also a couple of Me 108's [trainers to the Me 109's] that came along as well. I believe one of the Me 108's crashed landed in Scotland trying to get back to their base in Canada.:dunno:
Thanks for the video, Harry, it was nice to see them again. It was a cracking aircraft and could outrun most of the German aircraft until the Me 262 came along.:snork:

They might have been well before my time :snork:, but I love the old planes, Spitfires, Mosquitoes, Lancasters etc...
