    Hello!

My balcony has wooden decking on it. However large parts of it are covered with a layer of green moss - it's the thin layer type not the "mini forest" type.

Recommendations please for the best way of removing and then preventing it†. Note that I don't have access to nor am able use a jet washer (which I think is a bad idea in any case as it can damage the wood?). Hydrogen peroxide? Chlorine-based bleach? Vinegar? Oxalic acid?

†The decking used to be covered by artificial grass which to my surprise kept both the moss away but also didn't damage the wood as I would have thought any rainwater held between the grass and wood would cause rotting.

Is this the best solution for the moss layer that's been established for 3-4 years?
