Mothers Day flower ID

    Kalanchoe ? I think the leaf looks like that, not sure about the flower though.

    If no suitable answers shortly a closeup of the flower, and another of the leaf, might help :)

    [​IMG] Jodie.... It is a Kalancho & they are easy to grow & need warm temperatures and minimum care.. :) In our climate it can be as easily grown indoors and outdoors but only in pots & not in the ground in our summer.. Kalanchoes are very sensitive to cold and it takes only a few hrs of 5c for the plant to die. Avoid placing it near drafts or on cool windowsills..
    Their root system is extremely sensitive & they like clay pots that allow better aeration of the roots.. If you decide to re-pot make sure you have excellent drainage by putting pebbles or crocks at the bottom of the pot and use a multi prpose compost containing extra perlite and sand.. Always empty excess water from the saucer and never let your pot stand in water.. :biggrin: That should about do it but just enjoy it for the moment... :SUNsmile:

    Once its grown a bit, they are easy from cuttings too if you want anymore...:blue thumb:
