Mr S. has just been given a new remote mouse for his laptop and has tried to remove the dongle of his old mouse from a port but it won't budge. He's plugged the new one into another port and that also won't come out now. Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me please. :)

Thanks Martin, but I'm not so sure the dongles are stuck. Surely there must be some way of releasing them, otherwise they render the laptop ports useless because they can't be removed.

Hi S, in video it says some usb are made incorrectly and get stuck that's the way to realise them if that's your problem.

@martin-f I tried what you suggested above but there is no gap at all to insert any different thicknesses of cardboard. I think we will have to find a computer technician to help us out. Thank you for the idea though.

Try a little extra pressure when pulling S is the only other thing i could suggest, I have various usb connections and some need more of a pull than others, try in a morning when lappy is cold :).

We've tried using pliers Martin but it's still not budging.
