Anyone grow these? I'm trying them out for the first time. I'm really surprised at how thin the vines flowers and embryonic fruit are. They seem quite vigorous though, hopefully I will get enough to make a jar of mini pickles!

Am I the only person to grow these? They have been amazing to grow. Incredibly vigorous. Less than a month after my previous photo they have completely covered the wigwam.

Th fruits can be eaten at any stage. When young, they taste just like small bite size cucumbers. When allowed to get a little larger the skin develops an acidity. They then taste like a cucumber dipped in lime juice! So far, I've not been able to leave them alone so I'm eating them as I find them but I'm hoping to grow enough to make mini pickles.

I certainly will! Also, although they are grown as an annual, they apparently produce a tuber which can be over wintered. They are really worth growing and would be great for hiding a fence as the vines are densely covered in leaves but are not heavy. They where a little slow for the first couple of weeks but then exploded into growth!
