I would like to move this from a partly shaded area in the back garden to full sun in the front garden. Can this grass plant cope with the move cutting it back and being in full sun most of the day ?

They're indestructible so it will be fine! You'll also probably get a thousand seedlings so on the off chance it dies you'll have plenty to replace it with

Thanks..would it be a good idea to cut this back first before replanting..and can it be done anytime of the yr. If I get the chance I'm hoping to do it within the next month.Have to sort the ground out first.

It would certainly make things easier on you to cut it back! the edges are like razors as I recall. Now is a pretty good time as they're coming back into active growth but any time of year and it will still survive
