moving polyanthus

    I moved my polyanthus this year out of the raised bed they were in to make way for summer bedding, now that the latter have finished is it ok to put the poly's back again just now,I have noticed that they are covered in buds. It has turned quite cold here now! [​IMG]

    Yes indeedy - they should produce occassional flowers all winter til the main display in spring - though wet may set set them back

    That reminds me I need to find some more primroses (primular vulgaris) as my stock is running low, and I love them.

    One of the signs of spring in near by Milton Keynes is the display of primroses in the woody boundaries and central areas of the grid roads.
