    Good afternoon.
I have a row of strawberry plants that are in their second year. They sit in a plot at the edge of my patio, planted into the ground. They are producing loads of runners and if I turn my back, they try to root into the grass, gravel or adjacent plots.

I would like to move them to a different place in the garden for next year. Probably in containers. One of the reasons being that I would like to plant spring bulbs and summer flowers in their place next year.

Is this possible? I don't want to damage them as I believe that next years crop should be the best? Any advice, gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers, Russ

Dig em out and make sure they're firmly planted, test is to pull a leaf to make sure it doesn't uproot the plant :):psnp:

Pot your runners up to replace the plants the following year too :)
