    Hello all

    I Hope you are Well.

I have some Verbena Bonariensis that Self Seeded, probably Last Year.

I would like to Move them to more appropriate positions within the Garden.

How easy is it to relocate Verbena Bonariensis and when is the Best Time to do so?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

It's almost become a weed here! I pull it up and relocate it at will and it seems to survive.

I've found them to be tough plants which transplant well. I'm forever finding them in odd places and moving them around. It'll be fine to do it now as long as you remember to water.

We had tried for years to grow this plant but with no success. 2 years ago friends gave us one of their seedlings in a pot. We planted it out and it flowered that year. Amazing. Then we thought that is it we will never see it again but no it is growing very well and will soon have the flowers that the bees love.

I agree, do it as soon as possible, it's easier while they're small.

I agree too - if you get seedlings at all, they're easy to move. Just pot them up in a gritty mix and keep them somewhere that they won't dry out, or the opposite.
If they're big enough, you might be able to replant right away if your conditions are favourable.

Quite easy, I moved some about a month ago, they took a few weeks to find their feet but they are shooting now.
