As you may or may not know, I am now the proud owner of an ipod, I have downloaded lots from itunes, but I want to convert my current cds to mp3, I have looked high and low and found about 8 music cds (yes really that few, I listen to the radio a lot) I must have tried 6 mp3 converters, for me, they either only do a sample of 30 seconds, stop working, just stop, or hang. I have read reviews and only downloaded the ones that sound good, it seems hanging / crashing is quite common, so my question is, what programme do you use?

Windows Media Player does this for free and is very simple to use, mine works automatically if I insert a music CD into my DVD drive (i.e it rips the CD to MP3).
