    Hello!
I have a small raised bed that I made last year. I mulched it with compost in autumn after growing and covered with cardboard for winter. I was wondering if I should mulch it again now after removing cardboard or just plant straight away?

If you applied 25-40mm of 'compost' in the Autumn, I think that should be sufficient for a season. Lightly rake to even surface, remove any weeds you can see and plant. Keep an eye open for any weed seedlings that appear and remove/hoe when they are small. You could use the soggy cardboard you intend to remove , with green matter in a composting heap to provide more material to mulch this Autumn.
