    Hi all

I laid a new lawn about 3 months ago and it's looking really good, although recently there are a couple of patches where some small mushrooms have started to appear, should I be worried?

Iâ??ve read that if the grass around or underneath them isnâ??t discoloured (which it isnâ??t) then itâ??s nothing to worry about, is that true?

Is it because of the time of year that they are appearing, or will they keep coming back all year round?

If I need to get rid of them does anybody have some good advice?

    Thanks for your help.

    Matt

    ****** DON'T PANIC ******

Just mow them off... Most mushrooms won't do any damage!

It's more likely that they will be living off the organic stuff in the soil under the turf than on the grass it's self. This wet waether is making mushrooms pop up all over the place.
