OK, well the music I want is only available on CD format, that's fine but having got the CD's how do I transfer the music to my MP3? Do I need some special player? I might add that my computer doesn't have a disc player Apple omitted to put one on their new imac.
Any help with this would be SOOO appreciated!!!

You can get CD/DVD drives that attach to your computer via a USB connection

Yes, Apple do one, it used to be integral in the old imac but now you have to buy it separately!! Oh well if that's what I need. Thanks for that fc.

Lots of websites to buy music from if that's what you mean?

Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Amazon, Spotify.. but I still prefer to buy the album on CD and convert it to my computer to put on my MP3 player. though!

OK, well this is a bit annoying, the ipod doesn't play back the songs in the order that I chose, does any MP3 player actually play in order or are they apparently random? This is gonna drive my OCD crazy!!!! :wallbanging:
