Yes, I think so Gogs

All the 60s, 70s, 80s, groups and of course my very favourite is Alan Price.
I have just started a fans forum - www.alanpricefansforum.org.uk and would be happy to have lots more members.
Also love going to live shows - Alan Price whenever possible, and have also seen Georgie Fame, Bill Wyman. The Hollies, David Essex, and lots of the shows with Gerry and the Pacemakers, Tremeloes, Swinging Blue Jeans, The Animals and...........................can't think of any more to add at the moment but there have been many over the last few years!

What sort of music do you like Gogs?

Just pulled all the Mark Knofler/Dire Straits tracks together to listen to tonight- brilliant.Favourite groups in no particular order Pink Floyd , Queen , Dire Straits , Oasis , The Eagles , Don Henley , Billy Idol , Paul Simon , Steve Earle , Bruce Hornsby. Can you see a pattern developing ? :D :D Also like a bit of dance music too , really anything with a good tune or a good beat and dont care what genre it is . :D

I was at the pub last week and a man asked me could i put a title to the lyrics of a song.Hoping roders can help with this as i know he`s a Dylan fan.i`m copying this from a beer mat by the way so.....
I sat myself down in my barbers chair.
Someone yelled out,"Don`t cut that mans hair.Put down them cutters or i`ll fracture your jaw!"
It was only Sonny Bonno, disguised as the law.
Any other Dylan fans who can help???

Copperhead Road - one of my most favourite songs its always stuck in my head . I'm just getting into Pink Floyd always liked Brick in the wall and started to look at more of it after Live 8. Rodders one of the Dixie Chicks got married to a man from about 20 miles away. It was a quiet wedding -no Hello etc , and by all accounts a down to earth group of girls .The year that Oasis played Knebworth we moved the sound equipment for them , that was serious fun
:D :D but what ever you hear about the Gallaghers they are salt of the earth decent lads .Biggest mistake I ever made was turning down FREE tickets to see Queen at Slane Castle in 1986 (girlfriend then worked in promotion). One of my biggest regrets not seeing Freddy and the rest live. :( :(
