I used to work in a music shop and having trawled through every instrument in the place, discovered that saxophone is a whole lot easier than it looks!! I've been playing for about 15 years now and have only ever had one lesson - from a jazz professor to the Royal Marines! I also strum guitar a bit and used to be a percussionist - lots of noise!!! I play in the volunteer band at RNAS Culdrose which involves parades, concerts and the like. It's a good laugh with little pressure and the beer's usually free! [IMG]

Last bit sounds good, Sarah! I don't do a lot of practice, but I enjoy playing the guitar and double bass when I get the chance. A friend who's a music teacher and our main intro into the world of jam sessions, is coming up next weekend, so I'd better get a bit of practice in, and get my fingers hardened up ready for it! :D
